Night shift at CF Lankelz
At the entrance to the "Nonnewisen" train station, one of our drivers noticed major bumps in the rails last Sunday, which could only be crossed at walking pace. It turned out that the sleepers had rotten away over a length of 2 meters. This affected a contact track for track occupancy detection and a switch.
After a good hour's work, all the dilapidated sleepers were replaced and the gauge of the rails corrected again. After a test drive, it was also confirmed that the entire section can be crossed again without any problems.
