The locomotive runs with a maximum pressure of 6 bar (87 psi). Coal is used for heating. The water is located in the 2 side tanks on the locomotive itself and in the tender, which also contains the coal. To get water into the boiler, the locomotive has 2 injectors and 1 feed pump. As with the original, there is a blower to increase the heat development.
The locomotive was manufactured by R.S. Hammond & Son Ltd. in England.
The orignal
The model was built on the basis of the CFL 352 locomotive, one of the 3 narrow-gauge locomotives on the Luxembourg Railway. The 3 originals originally came from the Rhaetian Railway. The picture shows the sister locomotive of the 352.
